The use of a turbocharger can effectively utilize the emitted exhaust pulse energy to drive the radial turbine, causing the centrifugal compressor impeller to rotate coaxially with the turbine. Through the intake pipe of the diesel generator, the air pressure rises and enters the cylinder block, increasing the inflation amount of the diesel generator and causing more diesel to burn. Therefore, the output and economy of the diesel generator are improved. Before disassembling and assembling the diesel generator exhaust turbocharger, the mutual positioning interceptor between the compressor housing 1 and the turbine housing can be marked for installation in its original position during the assembly process. The disassembly process is carried out according to the following steps.
1. Loosen the compressor casing separately. Remove the fasteners from the turbine casing and intermediate casing. If the two shells and the middle shell fit tightly, rubber or a wooden mallet can be used to gently tap around the shell. When removing the shell, be careful not to tilt it axially to avoid touching the tips of the compressor and turbine blades or the corresponding inner surface of the shell.
2. Clamp the turbine rotor shaft and the hexagonal protrusion at the impeller outlet onto a vice, confirm or prepare the self-locking nut. The dynamic balance mark between the turbine rotor shaft and compressor impeller 4. Release the self-locking nut, then unscrew and gently pull the compressor impeller out of the turbine shaft.
3. After taking out the compressor impeller, hold the turbine impeller by hand, remove the intermediate housing with the turbine rotor shaft from the vise, and place it on the workbench. By gently pressing the turbine rotor shaft onto the threaded center hole at the end of the compressor, the rotor shaft was removed. When removing the rotor, be very careful not to make contact between the rotor shaft and the inner hole surface of the float bearing.
4. Use a round head pliers to remove the retaining ring from the hole at the compressor end inside the middle shell, and then use two cocks to seal the end face of the compressor. Remove the thrust plate and spacer ring at the compressor end, and then press out the shaft seal from the compressor end cover. Then, use your fingertips to cover two circular rings made of fine iron wire, and place the two elastic sealing rings on the shaft seal.
When flipping the locking plate on the thrust bearing, first tighten 4 hexagonal screws, and then take out the thrust bearing and another push plate.
6. Use pointed pliers to remove the spring snap ring from the bearing hole at the end of the compressor, then remove the thrust ring and floating bearing from the bearing hole, and then use pointed pliers to remove the spring snap ring in the direction of the compressor end from the compressor end. But be especially careful not to let the spring snap ring rub against the surface of the bearing hole.
7. Use pliers to place the middle casing on the spring snap ring in the turbine end bearing hole, and then remove the thrust ring and floating bearing. Remove the pointed pliers on the end face of the steam turbine and install the spring snap ring on the other end of the floating bearing from the end of the steam turbine, but pay special attention not to rub against the surface of the bearing hole and the surface of the elastic sealing ring seat hole.
