1、 Reason for insufficient fresh air in the cylinder of diesel generator set:

(1) Excessive dust accumulation in the air filter element;

(2) Silencer rust, carbon deposits, or oil stains

(3) Excessive clearance between the intake and exhaust valves reduces the valve opening;

(4) Loose, worn, and deformed parts of the adapter mechanism, changes in the relative position between the camshaft gear and the crankshaft timing gear, and incorrect valve opening and closing time

2、 Reason for temperature and pressure drop at the end of cylinder compression in diesel generator set:

(1) Excessive wear on the cylinder barrel and piston rings, incorrect installation or loss of elasticity of the piston rings, resulting in air leakage in the cylinder;

(2) If the valve clearance is too small, it is easy to be pushed open during hot driving, or the valve may burn or accumulate carbon, resulting in poor cylinder sealing;

(3) Leakage at the joint surface between the cylinder head and the engine body, as well as between the fuel injector and the cylinder head;

(4) Severe valve sinking, excessive clearance between piston and piston pin, piston pin and connecting rod small end, connecting rod large end and connecting rod journal, resulting in an increase in combustion chamber volume and a decrease in compression ratio

3、 Reasons for poor diesel atomization in diesel generator sets:

(1) The pressure adjustment of the fuel injector is too low;

(2) The pressure regulating spring of the fuel injector is broken or stuck;

(3) The needle valve and valve seat of the fuel injector have carbon deposits, and the needle valve is stuck or worn excessively;

(4) The pressure reducing ring of the fuel injection pump outlet valve is worn too much, causing the fuel injector to drip oil.

4、 The reason for the incorrect fuel supply time and quantity of the diesel generator set is:

(1) The fuel supply time is too late;

(2) In the early stage of start-up, the gas pressure and temperature are low, and the fuel supply time is too early;

(3) Increase the supply range of fuel injection pump plunger components after wear and tear;

(4) The adjustment of the gear rod or rod stroke of the fuel injection pump is too large, resulting in excessive fuel supply.
