Cause of malfunction:

1. The diesel fuel in the fuel tank is labeled incorrectly.

2. The fixing screws of the fuel injection pump drive plate of the diesel generator set are loose.

3. The fuel injection pump does not spray oil.

4. The return screws of the fuel supply system are loose.

5. The fuel pump does not supply oil.

6. Each oil inlet filter of the diesel generator set is blocked.

Troubleshooting method:

If this diesel generator set malfunctions in winter, the first consideration should be the impact of ambient temperature on the diesel generator set.

2. Check the return screw of the fuel supply system and tighten it.

3. Check the fixing screws of the transmission plate of the fuel injection pump governor assembly for any abnormalities.

4. Continuously press the oil delivery pump and then start the diesel generator set. It was found that the diesel generator set stopped almost 1 minute after being started. After repeating twice, it was found that there was insufficient oil in the low-pressure oil circuit of the diesel generator set.

5. Check the inlet filter screen of the oil transfer pump and find that the filter screen is blocked by broken ice. After cleaning and assembly, open the vent screw of the fuel injection pump and press the fuel transfer pump to vent. After exhaust, tighten the exhaust screw and restart the diesel generator set. It was found that the diesel generator set was running smoothly without any shutdown phenomenon, and the fault was eliminated.
