1. The computer room is spacious and bright, with good ventilation, low humidity, and an ambient temperature of<40 ℃;

2. Night work should have good lighting equipment, and outdoor use should be covered with protective covers to avoid rain and direct sunlight;

3. The environment should be clean, and items that produce corrosive gases such as acid and alkali are not allowed to be placed around;

4. The exhaust pipes of diesel engines should be unobstructed and efforts should be made to avoid excessively long pipes or sudden turns. When the exhaust pipe is connected to the outside, it is advisable to tilt the outer pipe downwards slightly to allow the condensed water inside the pipe to flow out;

5. If the diesel generator set is not fixed on the foundation, rubber plates can be placed under the chassis to reduce vibration;

6. When installing diesel generator sets, the following points should be achieved:

1) The foundation is made of concrete, but it must not be connected to the building foundation. The distance between the building wall and the unit is not less than 1.5 meters;

2) During installation, it is necessary to measure the levelness with a spirit level to ensure that the unit is fixed in a horizontal position;

3) For personal safety, the generator and switch screen must be grounded separately, with a ground wire area not less than the cross-sectional area of the generator output line. The ground wire can be connected to underground water pipes or steel plates buried deep underground to ensure good grounding, and the grounding resistance should not exceed 50 ohms;

4) Open cooling units must be equipped with additional cooling water pipes to ensure sufficient supply of cooling water;

5) To reduce environmental noise, an external sound-absorbing device can be installed;

6) After installation, the different centrality of the generator shaft to the main shaft of the diesel engine should generally be less than 0.15 millimeters, and the runout of the generator shaft to the flywheel end face should generally be less than 0.5/400;

7) The battery should be connected according to the starting and charging circuit diagram in the Diesel Engine Maintenance and Use Instructions.
